Lange's Rock Farm is much more than a Dimension Stone Granite Quarry and its Atlantic Sparkle - Nova Scotia's finest granite. It's a working farm as well.

Farm news - freezer lamb and goat will soon be available - shop local Nova Scotia!

The Rock Farm is home to free range chickens and flocks of sheep and goats, along with a rescued horse, an ever-watchful guard llama and a mother pig and her piglets.

Every second Saturday, from October - March, and occassionly in the summer, Lange's Rock Farm heads down the road before dawn to attend the Halifax Farmers' Market where patrons Shop Local Nova Scotia.

While at the market, the Langes also advertise their free-range freezer meats. The lamb, pork, goat and chicken is grown on Lange's Rock Farm. Although they sell their freezer meat all year round (depending on availability), for a dependable supply, it's best to order it in the fall.

The Lange's guard llama is much more than a pretty face. It keeps the sheep and goats safe from predatory coyotes and bears. They haven't lost an animal yet.
